Field Account Manager
BSME

BS degree with a strong technical content

Minimum five years industry related sales experience
Superior knowledge and practice of basic selling skills, strong technical comprehension of fluid power products and their applications, and good PC skills including working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and basic CAD necessary.
Responsible for the development of profitable new business and the maintenance of existing business within assigned territory to achieve annual gross profit objectives.
Hydraulic Field Account Managers make sales visits to assigned accounts, utilizing their technical expertise and superior selling skills to convince them to specify and purchase fluid power, automation/motion controls and systems from Cross Companies.
Field Account Managers work as part of a team with Customer Service Reps and Inside Application Engineers to anticipate and profitably satisfy each desired customer’s motion control needs.
A. Achieve annual gross profit objectives (10% of time)
B. Generate profitable new business from assigned accounts (30%)
C. Maintain existing business at assigned accounts (30%)
D. Maintain high degree of technical competence in products and their applications (20%)
E. Develop strong inter-company relationship with assigned accounts by satisfying their individual needs (10%)
