Goliath Concrete Placement Hose
Overview
The right combination of equipment is essential on the job site. Using top quality grout and mortar delivery hose is another way to increase daily square footage and overall material delivery efficiency. The new SS201 GOLIATH™ series hose from Parker is made of a thick rubber tube that provides superior resistance to abrasive materials going through the hose up to 180°F. The thick wall provides kink resistance for unimpeded flow and the SBR cover provides resistance to abrasion, cuts, gouging, scuffs, and weathering.

SS201 GOLIATH™ In Action
On a recent project for a water plant renovation in Greensboro, NC, Cross Hose & Fittings placed three 50 foot SS201 GOLIATH™ hose assemblies, complete with couplings, with the job foreman. His previous hose assemblies were not holding up to his performance expectations and their frequent replacement was causing downtime and missed deadlines. Parker launched their new line of GOLIATH™ grout delivery hose just in time as our territory manager was helping the project team onsite. Parker sent the team a 50ft test assembly and less than a week later, all 150ft are on the job and working hard.
The foreman reports improved material delivery to the point of needing additional help on the finishing crew to keep up with the speed of grout placement. An unexpected benefit has also been the speed of cleanup with the high-quality inner tube of the GOLIATH™ series. Using wet foam pellets and high-pressure water to clean the hoses is working in significantly less time than his previous hose assemblies.
This is another great example of the Cross Hose & Fittings team working with Parker products to solve problems and increase efficiency on job sites in the Triad. If you would like more information on this product contact Cross Hose & Fittings or find a location near you.
