GROTH Emergency Pressure Relief Valves

Product Overview
Emergency pressure relief valves are designed to provide emergency relief capacity beyond that furnished by normal operating pressure relief valves. They protect against tank rupture or explosion caused by:
- Excessive internal pressure due to transport pumping or pump in/pump out
- Excessive internal pressure due to explosive or fire conditions
The ERV relieves excessive pressure build up, then reseats when pressure has dissipated.
GROTH’srange of emergency relief valves come in three types: Free lifting covers, hinged covers and spring loaded covers.
GROTH emergency pressure relief valves:
- Series 2000 with free lifting cover
- Features corrosion resistant material
- Fluoropolymer “cushioned air” pallet and peripheral guiding ensures proper alignment and integrity of seating
