Nippon Pulse MDD Motors

Nippon Pulse MDD Motors 1

Product Overview

Small and mighty. High-performance micro direct-drive AC servomotors.

The newest addition to Nippon’s line of linear shaft motors is the MDD high-resolution, high-torque miniature AC servomotors. This compact motor comes with a built-in high-performance encoder (either absolute or incremental) that enables direct fine positioning. Despite their compact size, these motors can bear large loads through a robust bearing arrangement and deliver increased torque. It accomplishes this through its high-energy magnets and power-dense winding technology. In addition, the MDD motors have a ripple-reducing design and come to you clean-room ready.

Available in frame sizes as small as 13mm and as large as 70mm, these motors can support hollow shaft structures. Each frame size is available in three stack lengths to fit into your application’s space requirements. To keep the system compact, the motor and encoder are integrated into a single unit.
