Improve Efficiency with Robotic Polishing, Sanding & Deburring

Whether you are polishing wood panels for the inside of cabins or deburring metal components, you need to find the most efficient way to accomplish the task without damaging your product. If you have any polishing, sanding, or deburring tasks in your process that are manual, a cobot from Doosan could be a great solution.

Using the built-in torque sensor installed on each of the six joints and an innovative motion control algorithm, Doosan cobots can perform post-processing tasks that require consistency and quality. The industry’s highest force-sensing rate enables them to simulate an operator’s hand motions without damage or misalignment.

Click below to learn more about how Doosan’s force & compliance control can help you to improve the consistency of your product while also freeing up human labor for more valuable tasks.

What's New at Cross

Do you need testing services?

As an aerospace manufacturer, you want to make sure that your product will hold up in the real-world. For you, product failure isn’t an option. In some cases, it can mean life or death for your end user or their customer so proper testing is critical.

Cross Company’s Testing Division is excited to announce we can now perform altitude testing.

In the Cross altitude testing laboratories, we’re able to simulate both high and low altitudes, associated temperatures, and other altitude-related conditions on materials, subassemblies, components, or whole products.

Need to upgrade your CMM?

When manufacturing aerospace components, precision is key. One of the most reliable ways to get precise dimensional measurements is with a CMM.

Cross is proud to announce that we are now a distributor for LK Metrology CMMs. LK not only has a full line of bridge style CMMs but they are also able to custom build custom gantry-style CMMs to measure very large parts. Contact us today for a quote.

Did you know?

Cross Precision Measurement will be hosting Scan Your Part Workshop events in April. If you are in the Huntsville, Chattanooga, Raleigh, or Greenville areas we will have workshops in your area. Register and then come by your local calibration lab to have your part scanned using a Kreon Arm and scanner. It’s a great way to see if a portable CMM could help to improve your measurement process. Improve Efficiency

The quality and ease of use of your measurement software can make a big difference in the efficiency of your measurement process. Most likely, you are currently tied to using the manufacturer’s software that came with your equipment.

Metrologic offers a suite of 3D metrology software for industrial measurement processes. With Metrologic you can standardize your measurement equipment software making it easier to train employees.

As an added benefit of Metrologic is that you are no longer tied to your equipment manufacturer for calibration and service when something goes wrong.
