Electric Actuators

ITT compact automation main logo

The NIASA F/A Series linear actuators represent a sophisticated electro-mechanical cylinder design, featuring a round stem moving within a second tube made of steel or aluminum. The stem’s longitudinal movement is facilitated by an internal screw/nut mechanism, coupled with an electric motor that drives the screw/nut assembly. Power transmission from the motor may occur directly or through various gear solutions and toothed belts.

By enclosing the screw mechanism within the external stem, NIASA F/A Series actuators offer superior protection against environmental factors such as dust or liquid exposure, making them suitable for operation in highly aggressive conditions. This design ensures exceptional sealing, enabling reliable performance even in demanding industrial environments. Additionally, the stem design enhances the actuator’s ability to withstand axial compression loads, further enhancing its durability and longevity.
