Simulation is beneficial for building a quality inspection process. With better throughput, improved efficiency, faster programing  and results interpretation, An offline simulation program liks Silma X4 is an excellent addition to your process. Workcell and Virtual Environment Definition: Silma integrates an extensive CMM library including; real machine cinematic, detailed probe heads, styluses, and accessories. Parts and associated fixtures can be directly loded as CAD files and set in the 3D environment.

Offline Programming: DMIS or native, post processors, and part program import. Silma was developed to create and simulate part programs, validate, and troubleshoot, using advanced probing and measurement routines and contructions.

Part Program Validation: Silma can validate your program consistently. Collision detection and automatic collision removal tools give you the ability to visualize, optimize and update in real your entire program probing path.

Part Program Execution: Silma can create part programs directly in Native DMIS or Metrolog X4 format, or exported to other native fromats. Programs can then be run directly on your CMM for final online validation.

Reduce CMM Downtime: With offline programing and validation, initial set-up and completion of a part program can be done without having any real CMM downtime: the program can be sent to the machine virtually error and collision free.

Flexible and Universal: Silma includes a virtual library of more than 500 machines including DCC and Manual CMMs, Laser trackers, changers, rotary tables and all the other needed accessories needed to replicate your real world environment.

Expert Functions: Based on years of programming experience, Silma X4 follows the latest standards to gurantee consistency in your part programming process.
