Red Lion’s NT5000 gigabit industrial switches, part of the N-Tron® series, are easy to use, yet secure and reliable.

Easy

Installation and setup are easy with a modern GUI and a quick start wizard to help with setting switch configuration.  This includes a graphical dashboard which shows:

  • Active ports
  • Power supply
  • Temperature
  • Contact relay status of the switch
  • Color coded gauges for port traffic and events for quick identification of network disruptions.

Secure

The NT5000 feature advanced technology to help prevent unauthorized network access including:

  • Password encryption
  • MAC security
  • Configurable password length and multi-level user access
  • Ability to disable unused protocols
  • Event log/sys log
  • Ability to automatically disable user or port credentials after a certain number of failed attempts
  • IEEE 802.1x
  • RADIUS remote server authentication

Durable

Designed for years of use in the harshest of industrial environments, the NT5000 feature:

  • Compact metal enclosure
  • Wide operating temperature range (-40C to +85C)
  • Redundant power inputs (10-49 VDC)
  • Extended shock and vibration protection
  • Reverse polarity protection
  • ESD and surge protection
  • And more…….

NT24k®, part of the Red Lion’s N-Tron® series, are some of the easiest-to-deploy managed switches in the industry.

  • Available in rackmount or DIN-rail mountable configurations.
  • Wide array of port configurations, media types and Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) models including 10/100/1000 copper, and Fast Ethernet and Gigabit fiber options
  • Plug-and-play installable with IGMP auto-configuration, media/port auto-detection and simple ring configuration

The 700 managed ethernet switches are designed for harsh environments.  Built to last, they’re housed in metal enclosures, are IP67 with M12 style connectors and a UL Class 1, Div. 2 rating, as well as CE, EN50155 and ABS certifications.

Red Lion’s N-Tron® series 7000 managed industrial Ethernet switches provide Gigabit connectivity ideally suited for connecting Ethernet enabled industrial and security equipment. The 7000 Gigabit Ethernet switches are well suited for use as a fiber optic ring manager or an aggregation switch. With SNMP, web management and N-View™ support, remote diagnostics and monitoring are easy.

The NT4008 Layer 2 PROFINET switches are built to effortlessly manage bandwidths and speeds for both today and tomorrow.  They are available in two models, the NT4008-PN with eight 10/100/1000 copper Ethernet ports and the NT 4008-DM2-PN with six 10/100/1000 copper Ethernet ports and two dual mode (Fast & Gigabit Ethernet) SFP slots. Both models offer:

  • LED Alarm & Power Status Indicators
  • LED Port Status Indicators
  • Redundant 12–58 VDC Power Inputs
  • Configurable Alarm Contact Relay Console Port
  • IP-30 Metal Enclosure
  • Wide -40 to 75°C Operating Range
  • Extreme Shock & Vibration Tolerance

The SLX managed industrial Ethernet switches, part of the Red Lion Sixnet® series, are built for high demand, extreme conditions.  With Modbus monitoring, protected circuitry and DIN-rail mountable metal enclosures,  they’re built to last in demanding environments. The SLX switches are available with five to 18 ports, offering a combination of Fast Ethernet and Gigabit port speeds.

For advanced support of multiservice networks, the Red Lion NT328G Layer 3 rackmounted industrial Ethernet switches feature 28 high speed ports including four 10Gigabit SFP+ ports. They also offer advanced security, priority queuing, IGMP, RMON and SNMP functionality.

Did you know… Cross Company is an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan). Our ESOP started in 1979 and as of 2006, we are 100% employee-owned! Learn more about our ESOP and how that benefits both team members and our customers.
Did you know... the precision measurement group at Cross was founded in 1939 by our current CEO's grandfather, Jim King. That's a whole lot of calibration!
Did you know... A fingerprint weighs about 50 micrograms. We know, we weighed it! The residue left from a finger can actually make a difference in weight results which is why we wear gloves when we calibrate weights. For reference, a sheet of paper is about 4.5 grams, that’s 4.5 million micrograms.
Did you know… Cross Company has grown significantly since our start in 1954. Over the years we've acquired 26 companies! Today, our five groups have expertise in everything from industrial automation to precision measurement, and industry knowledge going all the way back to 1939.
